teacher & crafter

I teach workshops at bead societies, bead shows, and craft schools across the country, including Penland School of Crafts and John C. Campbell Folk School. I have been the assistant to fiber artist Renie Breskin Adams at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Visit my blog at the What's New tab above for upcoming classes and workshops. I have made appearances on the television networks mentioned above, plus the shows Scrapbooking, Uncommon Threads, and my favorite, Craft Corner Death Match. A true lover of all crafts, I am known to have sewing, embroidery, knitting, beadweaving, and home improvement projects in the works all at the same time.

family & mountain life

Though I love beading, editing, and working in the craft industry, spending time with my husband, daughter, and son brings me the most joy. I call the Rocky Mountains my home and love living at 8,500 feet, where I can spend my summers hiking, running, and camping. In the winter, I love to downhill and cross-country ski and sled with my kids.
